First of all, I let you to know the difference between music and song. If you find the difference between music and song you are an awesome person. 

I know that you all had different strategies in studying different things. But universal strategy to study or work in a focused mode is hearing classical and ambient music in background. This music will help you to be in a focused state. Personally I had experience in studying with background music. My favourite music genre is ambient music.

In Recent days, I just followed this music strategy to get more focus in reading and writing. Even when writing this topic I hearing the ambient music. The feel which will reach you is non-explainable. Sometimes it'll be awesome, it'll be mindful, it'll be calm, it'll be soothing, it'll be Relaxation. 
Try this strategy to get more focus in all things which will encounter by you in future. I wish you all the best.

When you are going to select your favourite music, try all the music but choose only one music. This again help you to get more discipline in your focus.
This type of music will help you to stay relaxed, stay in calm situation, enjoying the every moment in life and also you will feel the presence of your life in this world. 



I personally feel this genre music makes my mind calm and it increases my focus and it gives immense feeling of present moment in my life.

Soul is nothing but a inner presence or inner feeling in the mind, to keep your soul in a purified state, this type of music will surely help you.
